WE. provide

Double-pressure and multi-stage presses

In the double-pressure area, we can press a wide variety of products in large quantities and with continuous process monitoring. During cold forging using the double-pressure pressing process, the wire is fed into the machine and secured by a straightening device. The machine then produces the bolt. The wire is sheared off and positioned in front of a die for forming. This process is barely visible to the naked eye. After each mechanical operation, the parts are washed and separated from oil and chips. After drying, they leave the system for the next steps.

Thread rolling

With our powerful machinery, we can produce standard and special threads, as well as parts with captively attached washers. We transport the parts to the flat dies via a feed rail. One side of the tool is fixed and immobile, while the other side constantly moves up and down. With each stroke, it picks up a part and rolls the thread.

machining post-processing

Our post-processing relies on state-of-the-art machining technology to ensure the highest precision. Thanks to the combination of forming and post-processing, we can produce even complex geometries – efficiently, reliably, and with consistent quality.

Heat treatment

Two continuous conveyor belt systems are used for heat treatment. After pre-washing, the parts are automatically fed into the hardening furnace. There, they are heated under protective gas until the desired material structure is achieved.

How are our screws manufactured?

  • Pressing

The first step in the production of our screws is pressing. This is where the screw blank, usually made of steel or aluminum, is formed into its basic shape. This process lays the foundation for the component's later functionality and quality.

  • Rolling

In thread rolling, the blank is rolled between two or more rolling dies, which imprint the thread into the material. This occurs under high pressure, deforming the material but not removing it.

  • Hardening

Another important component of our screw production is our in-house hardening shop. Here, we ensure that the screws achieve the required strengths for their specific applications. With state-of-the-art technology and comprehensive know-how, we can produce all common strength classes and customize them to our customers' individual needs. This step is crucial for the longevity and reliability of our products.

  • Machining post-processing

Cutting-edge machining involves state-of-the-art turning, milling, or grinding machines. These machines further process the screw to meet specific contours, fits, or other requirements.

  • Coating

The final step in screw production is the coating, which is crucial for corrosion protection and the aesthetic appearance of the screw. We work with external specialists who specialize in coating processes and guarantee the highest quality standards. Different processes are used depending on the requirements and operating conditions.

Technical advice

Together for the perfect connection

At Menschel, we place great value on comprehensive and customized technical consulting. Our goal is to provide optimal support for your projects from the very beginning and develop solutions that are precisely tailored to your requirements. Our technical team draws on decades of experience to advise you on the selection of suitable fasteners and to find the ideal materials, surface coatings, and design solutions. We analyze your individual requirements, identify potential challenges, and work with you to develop solutions that are not only technically precise but also economically viable.

Whether introducing new products, optimizing existing processes, or solving specific connection problems – our experts will accompany you through the entire development process. From the initial idea to series production, we are at your side to ensure that your connections deliver what they promise.

Alternative to turned parts

Efficient solutions for your requirements

At Menschel, we offer innovative alternatives to traditional turned parts that are not only more efficient in production but also more cost-effective. Using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes such as cold forming and special stamping techniques, we develop customized fasteners that offer the highest precision and durability. Our machining capabilities enable us to manufacture even highly complex turned part alternatives.

The advantage of our alternatives lies in material savings and shorter production times, which positively impacts your production costs and delivery times. Furthermore, our processes enable consistently high quality even with complex geometries and demanding requirements.

Together, we'll determine whether your existing turned parts can be replaced with our innovative alternatives. We place particular emphasis on individual consultation to find the optimal solution for your specific applications.

Benefit from our know-how and our flexible production methods – for efficient and cost-saving alternatives to turned parts.

Functional model

From the idea to the tangible prototype

At Menschel, we understand how important it is to quickly and accurately translate new concepts and ideas into reality. With our functional prototypes, we offer the opportunity to thoroughly test fasteners during the development phase.

Functional prototypes are fully functional prototypes that help you verify the design, fit, and mechanical properties of your parts under real-world conditions. They allow you to make adjustments early before entering series production, thus avoiding costly rework.

Thanks to our flexible manufacturing capabilities and close collaboration with our technical experts, we develop functional prototypes tailored precisely to your requirements. Whether simple components or highly complex fasteners, we manufacture prototypes that advance your product development and provide you with valuable insights.

Rely on our expertise to transform your ideas into functional prototypes and optimally prepare the path to series production.

The Group

MENSCHEL is a WÜRTH GROUP company, which primarily operates in the wholesale distribution of products related to fastener and assembly technology. The group developed from Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, based in Künzelsau, employs more than 87.000 employees in 80 countries.
The name ‘Würth’ is synonymous with quality and outstanding services. A unique company philosophy, and living out common values stand for the group’s long-term success.

Compliance

Mutual trust, dependability, honesty and straightforwardness are basic principles that are firmly anchored in the Würth Group. Commitment to these values can already be found in Reinhold Würth's company philosophy that dates back to the 1970s. It is not only about compliance with rules and laws, but also about the inner attitude of all employees as an essential building block for the company's success.

We want to promote this inner attitude at Adolf Menschel Verbindungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG too. At the same time, we also demand strict compliance with all applicable national and international rules and laws. SPEAK UP

Despite every intention to comply with the rules, we cannot provide a general guarantee that improper behaviour won't also occur in our company. Studies show that information received from third parties often leads to the investigation of white-collar crimes. That's why we have set up a system with which not only employees of the Würth Group but also third parties can give us information about serious compliance violations. This is the internet-based Speak Up.

If you would like to provide us with information via this system, you can do so either by name or anonymously. However, as we seek open communication, we would like to encourage you to mention your name when giving us information. In all cases we will treat your information in the strictest of confidence, and will take into account the legitimate interests of all parties involved. Please create a mailbox in Speak Up through which we can contact you. This is important if you have any questions or if you want to add further information to your report later. Communication via the mailbox can also take place anonymously, if desired.

The sole purpose of the Speak Up system is to draw attention to suspected white-collar crime or defined, serious compliance violations within the Würth Group. Misuse for other purposes can constitute a criminal offence.
