Double-pressure and multi-stage presses

In the double pressure area, we can press a wide variety of products in large quantities and with permanent process monitoring. During cold bulk forming in the double pressure pressing process, the wire is fed into the machine and locked in place using a straightening device. The machine then produces the bolt. The wire is sheared off and formed in front of a die. This process is barely visible to the naked eye. After each mechanical operation, the parts are washed and separated from oil or chips. After drying, they leave the system for the next work steps.

Thread rolling

With our powerful machinery, we can produce standard and special threads as well as parts with a captive disk. We transport the parts to the flat jaws via a feed rail. One side of the tool is fixed and immobile, the other side constantly moves up and down. With each stroke, it takes a part with it and rolls the thread.

Machining

Our machining relies on the latest machining technology to ensure the highest precision. Thanks to the combination of forming and machining, we can even produce complex geometries – efficiently, reliably and with consistent quality.

Heat treatment

Two continuous conveyor belt systems are used for heat treatment. After pre-washing, the parts are automatically fed into the hardening oven. There they are heated under protective gas until the desired material structure is achieved.

How are our screws made?


  • Pressing

    The first step in the production of our screws is pressing. Here the screw blank, usually made of steel or aluminum, is formed and brought into its basic shape. This process lays the foundation for the later functionality and quality of the component.

  • Rolling

    Thread rolling involves rolling the blank between two or more rolling tools that imprint the thread into the material. This is done under high pressure, which deforms the material but does not remove it.

  • Hardening

    Another important part of our screw production is our in-house hardening shop. Here we ensure that the screws achieve the required strengths for their specific areas of application. With the latest technology and comprehensive know-how, we can produce all common strength classes and adapt them individually to the needs of our customers. This step is crucial for the longevity and reliability of our products.

  • Machining

    State-of-the-art turning, milling or grinding machines are used for machining. These machines are used to further process the screw to meet special contours, fits or other requirements.

  • Coating

    The last step in screw production is the coating, which is crucial for corrosion protection and the optical appearance of the screw. We work with external specialists who specialize in coating processes and guarantee the highest quality standards. Different processes are used depending on the requirements and conditions of use.
